Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to foster reflection on the essential issues that educators have to face in educational practice and to promote learning of some theoretical frameworks.
The course also aims to foster the acquisition of conceptual and procedural knowledge needed to build educational research processes.
Program
The course is organized in two levels: theoretical reflection on educational practice and empirical research:
(a) theoretical research
Self-education is an essential theme for educators, both as a goal for educational practices and as a goal for one’s personal development; starting from this premise, a framework for the examination of self-education will be discussed.
Pivotal educational issues will be also discussed.
Si affronteranno inoltre alcune delle questioni prioritarie nell’educazione.
(b) Empirical research
The topic of research with children will be discussed and attention will be dedicated to: research methods and techniques, research ethics issues e research case.
