Learning outcomes

To know the introductory fundamentals required to understand the development of the nervous system and its functions. To be familiar with the normal stages of motor, cognitive and relational development in order to identify possible deviations from the normal developmental trajectory. To understand the characteristics of the main neurodevelopmental disorders or diseases associated with motor and/or cognitive disabilities in developmental age.

Outline of anatomical and functional organization of the nervous system and its development
Normal neurological development from neonatal period to childhood
Delayed psychomotor development
Neuromuscular disorders
Cerebral Palsies
Seizures, epilepsies and epileptic encephalopathies

Examination Methods

written test with 31 multiple choice questions (online or face-to-face, according to university instructions)
