Learning outcomes

The interrogation on ethical issues is about the dilemmas human life experiments every day. At the end of the course the student must have developed some autonomy of thought, some capacity of judgement and ability in ethical reasoning, about certain major questions of the contemporary world.

Program

Our lessons will provide, in part, an introduction to Bruno Latour’s thought, in particular to his book Face à Gaïa. The background of this reading will be the very event of the pandemic, which marked our lives in the last months. This event wil be the object of another part of the lessons. The overall landscape could be resumed in one question: what does it mean to become worthy of an event?

Examination Methods

Any exception concerning the days and hours of courses and meetings will be communicated though the teacher’s personal webpage. Students who will not attend classes will study the same bibliography.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
