Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at providing the knowledge relative to the behavior of the organic molecules. Such knowledge is finalized to the understanding of biochemistry and chemistry of biological compounds. The main aim is related to the introduction of a scientific method so that the molecular behaviors and the mechanisms of reaction may be derived from the basic properties of organic molecules. The course is specifically aimed to biotechnology students and therefore will deal with issues fundamental to the understanding of the chemistry of biological systems.
