Learning outcomes

The course helps the student to become aware of the role of individual and social determinants that influence medical profession and health care, with the adoption of both psychological and sociological perspectives. It illustrates the specific historical, theoretical and scientific background that helps the student to adopt a patient-centred approach, focusing on communication and relational skills. Attention is paid towards biopsychosocial determinants of health and evidence-based research.

Program

24 hours of Clinical Psychology teaching + 16 hours of supplementary practical training, divided into 5 meetings
24 hours of Human Sciences teaching
