The course aims to introduce students of medicine to the approaches adopted by social sciences in the study of health, disease and medicine. The aim of the course will be to present some of the epistemological and theoretical foundations of health sociology to allow students to develop an even sociological interpretation to address the social and relational problems of the ill person and his/her reference network, developing a capacity for reading the disease in a multdimensional way in a micro and macro sociale frame.
