Learning outcomes

The course of Periodontology is aimed at university education of the student of dentistry.
The course is designed to offer a basic training in the field of clinical periodontology.
Specific objective of the course is to provide to the student the basis of scientific knowledge, on the pathofisiology and the different kind of pathology that arise on the periodontics , and on the clinical approach of subjects with periodontal diseases.

Classification of Periodontal Diseases
Quantification of the risk of onset and progression of the patient
The healing of the periodontal wound
