To know the bacterial and viral structure, metabolism, macromolecular synthesis. To know the pathogenetic mechanisms used by bacteria and virus to cause infectious diseases. To identify the different groups of anti-bacterial and antiviral drugs, their mechanisms of action and the mechanisms of resistance.
To know the composition and functioning of the oral ecosystem. To know the microbiology of the oral infections and their prevention and treatment.
