1. Staff management in the current healthcare scenario - Magnet hospitals, ideal places to work. Features favoring a good workplace. - Personnel acquisition, staff planning, recruitment, curriculum, selection, hiring, acceptance and insertion. - Evaluation, goal setting and reward systems - The staffing: regulations, the minimum criteria for the staffing, the basic staff, the integration with the basic staff, the overall staffing time, the conditions for a good shiftwork. Examination Methods

The objective of this exam is to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the student and particularly his/her ability to apply it in a proficient way.

The exam shall include different levels:

Written examination: consisting of both multiple-choice and open-ended questions plus questions of interpretation applied to organizational case-studies.
Oral examination: the student will be asked to discuss the educational and organizational change projects assigned in class by the professors and individually produced.


The grade is awarded on a scale from one to thirty. The exam is passed with a grade greater than or equal to 18/30, the maximum attainable grade is 30/30.

The attribution of honours will be considered in case the student demonstrates high levels of critical thinking and argumentative ability.
