The course aims to develop a problem-oriented approach to the selection of prevention and management interventions of changes in patient's ability of body care, respiratory function and urinary and intestinal function, and the multidimensional assessment of pain. The student will develop the ability: to collect and interpret data in order to recognize alterations to the main organic functions, the patient's functional status and identify the main needs and problems associated with them; to select interventions aimed at managing the main needs / welfare problems consistent with the causes that have determined them; to identify useful data to evaluate the effectiveness of management interventions.
------------------------
MM: Infermieristica clinica 2
------------------------
The course introduces the student to the basic concepts of major diseases and the fundamental pathogenetic processes correlate to cell changes, the organ function, homeostatic mechanisms, and clinical manifestations of disease. It proposes the study of the basic principles of pharmacology, in particular pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics mechanisms and introduces the student to understand and assess the benefit and risk profile of medicines. It proposes to develop in the student an approach oriented to the definition of the problems, the choice of prevention interventions and alterations management of respiratory function and elimination, the recognition and multidimensional assessment of pain.

The written exam is passed if the student correctly answers 12 out of 20 questions. Access to the oral exam is limited to passing the written exam. The oral interview is aimed to evaluate the student's argumentative capacity in ordering one of the program's topics in a logical and clear manner and to appreciate the ability of clinical reasoning applied to situations of clinical practice related to the contents of the program

Orario lezioni

Carissime Studentesse,

Carissimi Studenti,

In fede

Prof. Paolo F Fabene
