Learning outcomes

The Course consists of four modules (General Pharmacology, Semeiotics and Physiopathology, Clinical Nursing, General Pathology) integrated to reach the objective of basic theoretical knowledge required for nursing practice. The learning outcomes are specified inside the different modules.
------------------------
MM: GENERAL PHARMACOLOGY
------------------------
The Course is targeted to give to the student basic knowledge and methodological instruments required to do nursing service in the management and monitoring of pharmacological therapies. The program covers also the study of basic principles of pharmacology, in particular pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic mechanisms, and introduces the student to the understanding and assessment of the risks and benefits of major therapeutic approaches
------------------------
MM: SEMEIOTICS AND PHYSIOPATHOLOGY
------------------------
The course addresses the basic physiopathological concepts of the main diseases and the fundamental pathogenetic processes related to cell changes leading toward organ function, homeostatic mechanisms and eventually overt clinical manifestations of a disease. One of the major aim of the teaching course is to favor the comprehension of an approach oriented to the definition of problems together with problem solving procedures by the evaluation of choices of disease prevention related to main organ functions and to an appropriate recognition and multidisciplinary assessment and solving procedures of acute and chronic pain symptoms.
------------------------
MM: CLINICAL NURSING
------------------------
------------------------
MM: Infermieristica clinica 1
------------------------
The course aims to develop the student's ability to perform the assessment and examination of the major systems. It also aims to strengthen an approach to the definition of the problems, the choice of interventions for prevention and management of pulmonary function disorders.
------------------------
MM: Infermieristica clinica 2
------------------------ -
- Identify changes in urinary function and bowel and its interventions - - Understand the care management of pressure sores - - Understand the importance of the care management of pain
------------------------
MM: GENERAL PATHOLOGY
------------------------
The course will develop some arguments of General Pathology preparatory to the understanding of the basic mechanisms of disease. The General Pathology comes at a critical point, the intersection between basic and clinical science. The course was aimed at establishing essential links between clinical and fundamental mechanisms, facilitating the understanding of the conceptual basis of disease.

Program

The Course program consists of the programs of the individual teaching modules.

Gestione carriere

Tirocinio professionalizzante

  • sessioni tutoriali che preparano lo studente all’esperienza;
  • esercitazioni e simulazioni in cui si sviluppano le abilità tecniche, relazionali e metodologiche in situazione protetta prima o durante la sperimentazione nei contesti reali;
  • esperienze dirette sul campo con supervisione;
  • sessioni tutoriali e feedback costanti;
  1. “assente”  pre-iscritto che non ha frequentato alcuna esperienza di tirocinio;
  2. “ritirato” sospensione durante il tirocinio per problemi di salute, gravidanza o per motivazioni personali;

Prof. Paolo F Fabene
