Describe the regulatory references for professional practice (notes Professional Profile, Code of Ethics, basic and post-basic training). The Professional Order meaning and functions the process of building the code of ethics. The private profession. The analysis of the concepts of Ethics and deontology and their purposes in healthcare decisions. The themes of the code of ethics Guiding values of nursing care Respect for the will of the patient: examples and integrations with the concept of conscience and conscientious objection. Protection of the dignity and will of the patient connection with restraint. Protection of the safety of the people assisted with analysis of the positive responsibility of taking charge and maintaining one's skills. MED/45 Ethics and regulation of professional practice: 8 multiple choice questions and 2 short open-ended questions
Evaluation criteria
The exam will be passed with a score equal to or higher than 18/30. The theoretical knowledge learned during the course and individual reflective ability will be evaluated.
