Understanding the reasons behind the birth of bioethics; understanding the mechanisms that allow to orient the conduct of professionals in the face of complex bioethical issues. Bioethics, Law, Deontology: relationships and distinctions. Fundamental Rights and Principles (personalist and pluralist). The Belmont report and the Principles of Biomedical Ethics of Beauchamp and Childress (beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, justice). The components of the decision-making process of difficult cases Informed consent-dissent and the care relationship in a historical and bioethical perspective Bioethical aspects of the beginning of life: voluntary termination of pregnancy, medically assisted reproduction.
