Program
To learn the basic cultural and professional principles, which guide the process, conceptuality, diagnostic thinking and acting towards the assisted person, starting to apply these principles in experiences at health facilities.
Understanding the principles of emergency medicine, quickly framing the patients' clinical situation and correctly adopting the guidelines.
Deepening of the most important topics of emergency medicine, both clinical and organizational.
Carry out assistance interventions and guarantee the application of diagnostic-therapeutic prescriptions, respecting the scientific principles adapting them to the assisted person, in relation to the different priority health problems and in the various operating sectors.

Evaluation criteria
Written examination with closed multiple choice and/or open short answer questions for knowledge and decision making. Clinical cases are proposed to stimulate critical thinking, to test knowledge/study understanding of the topics and the ability to identify/describe care management through nursing and multi-professional interventions.
