Learning outcomes
The course aims to investigate the pathophysiological, clinical and caring aspects of different types of emergency situations either in hospital, home and community setting. This course will focus on risk assessment and identification of patient’s complexity and intervention priorities.
Program
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and methods useful for developing skills in the assessment and treatment of specific acute and/or critical situations selected on the basis of their epidemiological relevance and exemplariness in various contexts (territory, hospital, home).
The course focuses on the in-depth study of physio-pathological, clinical and care aspects of patients in urgent/emergency situations and, in particular, on the identification of risks, post-intervention complications of election/emergency and care complexity of the patient by identifying intervention priorities.
