Program
The course program includes reflection on the following issues:
• The complexity and the repercussions in the social, individual and organizational spheres: the organization as a 'system'
• Organizational behavior and some key concepts: structure (the 5 parts of the organization and coordination mechanisms), culture, power and environment
• The transition process to work: from student to worker and the job interview
• Work placement in the organization: socialization at work and related dynamics; communities of practice
• The formation of professional identity: concepts and implications

Didactic methods
The didactic methods adopted consist of:
- lectures, dedicated to the transmission of basic notions and key categories, useful for the implementation of theoretical knowledge;
- interactive lessons, through the analysis of videos and illustrative materials, common discussion, group work and exercises in order to improve learning, applied understanding, working skills in team, for relationships and communication.
Learning assessment procedures
It is a written test consisting of multiple choice tests inserted as part of the general teaching test.
The duration of the module test is included in the duration of the teaching test.
The examination consists of 2 blocks:
BLOCK A MED742 - IUS/07 - SPS/07
BLOCK B MED/45
MED/42 – IUS/07 – SPS/07 Written examination with multiple-choice and open-ended questions
MED/45 Oral exam
The student may register in Block A + Block B or in only one of the two blocks.
Evaluation criteria
Negative is given by a score < 18/30
Block A can only be negative 1 Module which the student may repeat in future sessions.
Block B is not propaedeutic
Blocks with positive results remain positive until the end of the 5 courses.
