Compared to the pharmacological classes indicated below, the following will be addressed: - mechanism of action - main pharmacokinetic characteristics - therapeutic uses - more frequent and / or severe adverse reactions - contraindications and precautions
Opioid analgesics
Cardiovascular drugs: digitalis, antiarrhythmic drugs, diuretics, antihypertensive drugs, antianginal drugs, lipid-lowering drugs
Variability of responses to drugs in relation to gender differences
Antithrombotic drugs: antiaggregants, anticoagulants, thrombolytics
Drugs active on the central nervous system: anxiolytics - hypnotics (benzodiazepines), antidepressants Glucocorticoids
Respiratory tract drugs: antiasthmatics, cough suppressants, mucolytics / expectorants
Drugs of the gastrointestinal system: antisecretives and antacids, prokinetics, antiemetics
