Patient problems requiring surgical treatment will be addressed from the point of view of care taking in their evolution from the acute phase to discharge and rehabilitation, through the in-depth study of evidence-based monitoring, treatment, rehabilitation and educational interventions. Bibliography
Examination Methods
Multiple choice written exam for teaching in anesthesia-analgesia (10 items), orthopedics (10 items) and surgery (20 items).
Open-ended written exam (7-10 items) for the teaching of Nursing.
There is no preliminary preparation between the clinical part and the nursing part. The examination of the clinical part is done on separate days from the nursing part to offer the student more time for preparation.
In the event that the teacher verifies the student's difficulty in passing the written test in Nursing, he reserves the right to examine the student at one of the subsequent sessions by means of an oral test.
Final result: total sum of the results for each clinical module divided by 3 + the nursing part divided by 2
(total weight 50% (clinical part) + 50% (nursing part).
The final result is to be considered positive when a minimum of 18 / 30.
