Educational Objectives
1. Know the nursing epistemology.
2. Learn the knowledge of transcultural nursing.
3. Learn the clinical nursing methodology.

- Paradigms of health and disease in the 20th century and the organizational models of health systems;
- nursing paradigm and theories;
- caring Sciences and nursing care;
- philosophy of care and hermeneutic-phenomenological approach of nursing in Watson, Benner and Leininger’s theories.
- Culture care diversity and universality: Leininger's theory of nursing applied in clinical practice;
- Maternal Role Attainment. Becoming a mother, Mercer’s theory of nursing
- Clinical methodology: clinical reasoning in the health professions; nursing care process and midwifery care management; classification tools and standardization of care:
a. classification of nursing diagnosis (Nanda), intervention (Nic) and outcomes (Noc)
b. nursing classification ENP (European Nursing care Pathways).
