Program
The first part of the course will deal will the cellular membrane properties, the mechanics of muscle contraction and the features of motor units. The second part will take into consideration the control mechanisms of posture and voluntary movement, as well as the influence of basal ganglia and cerebellum on movement control.

Learning assessment procedures
La verifica delle conoscenze apprese avverrà attraverso una prova d’esame scritta. La prova avrà una durata prefissata di 50 minuti e comprenderà 26 domande a scelta multipla e due domande aperte. Le domande verteranno sull’intero programma di studio.
Evaluation criteria
L'esame è mirato a valutare la preparazione dello studente in riferimento a tutti i contenuti illustrati durante il corso. Nella valutazione saranno considerate:
- accuratezza e completezza delle conoscenze acquisite,
- la comprensione dei meccanismi e dei processi fisiologici,
- la capacità di descrivere contenuti in maniera precisa ed esaustiva,
- proprietà della terminologia tecnica utilizzata.
