Prerequisites and basic notions
Theoretical contents 1st and 2nd semester 3rd year. Attendance at 3rd year workshops.
Program
In the internship program of the 3rd year of the course, the student: Is responsible for the learning plan and actively participates in his/her own training program Assumes professional standards in compliance with ethical and deontological principles Establishes a professional relationship with the assisted person, with the family members, caregivers and the multi-professional team Has the patient's data, performs a targeted and relevant functional clinical assessment Apply hygiene principles for the safety of the patient and the operator Identifies physiotherapy problems in a relevant way and proposes the physiotherapy treatment Carries out physiotherapy treatment in the orthopaedic, neurological, geriatric and visceral fields Documents and guarantees continuity of care and develops organizational skills
Didactic methods
The student will be supported by a supervising tutor and supported by the university clinical tutor.
Learning assessment procedures
During the internship experiences the student will be evaluated through ongoing formative evaluation. The final internship exam consists of a written clinical situation.
Evaluation criteria
Ongoing training assessments and final collegiate certification assessment in 30th grade.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade will be composed of the weighted average of: - formative evaluations of the three experiences in the clinical environment - evaluation of the required teaching tasks (clinical cases and handovers) - formative evaluation of the exam with clinical case.
