Learning outcomes
1) Clinical assessment to Internal Medicine patient
2) To learn the clinical, diagnostic and treatment aspects of the following diseases: type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension and dyslipidemia
3) Recognition of certain symptoms and signs of the above diseases (diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia)
3) Ability to assess the possible causes, severity and possible evolution of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and dyslipidemia

- Epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases
- Definition of global cardiovascular risk
- Overview of physiopathology of atherosclerosis
- Arterial hypertension: definition, classification, associated organ damage

Examination Methods
The exam will focus on the topics covered in class and listed in the course program.
The assignment of Internal Medicine and Therapy consists of a written test with 15 multiple or single choice questions.
The evaluation criteria are the following: 2 points for correct answers; 1 point for partially correct answers; 0 points for missing/wrong answers.
The exam is considered valid when the student achieves a minimal overall grade of 18 points.
THE ABOVE INDICATED EXAMINATION METHODS WILL BE REFORMULATED TO COMPLY THE GUIDELINES IN FORCE FOR THE CURRENT HEALTH EMERGENCY STATUS
