Learning outcomes

APPLIED INFORMATICS MODULE Training objectives: The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge on the functioning of a computer and on the storage and management of health data. Students will use the spreadsheet for data synthesis and representation and will retrieve information from bibliographic databases. MODULE PSYCHOMETRY Educational objectives: This module provides two educational objectives related to data collection using the questionnaire tool. The first objective concerns the construction of a questionnaire, the adaptation of an already existing instrument and the different methods of administration. The second objective envisages an introduction to the statistical package R aimed at acquiring the basic skills necessary for the analysis of the data collected through a questionnaire and verification of its psychometric properties. MODULE OF MEDICAL STATISTICS AND CLINICAL EPIDEMIOLOGY Educational objectives: The educational path aims to make students able to: describe and interpret information regarding a set of data; know and interpret the main frequency and association measures in the epidemiological field.

Examination Methods

------------------------
MM: STATISTICA MEDICA E EPIDEMIOLOGIA CLINICA
------------------------
Written exam with multiple-choice tests and exercises; if this test is passed, then an oral interview will be carried out (optional).
------------------------
MM: INFORMATICA APPLICATA
------------------------
The final exam consists of a practical computer exercise and a written test (or an oral test in case of remote teaching) with multiple-choice and open questions. A remote oral test is guaranteed for all students who will ask for it in the 2020/21 academic year. The objectives of the test are to verify the knowledge of the topics discussed, to verify the ability to perform calculations and to produce data visualisations with the support of a spreadsheet, and to verify the ability to perform a bibliographic search. The final evaluation is expressed in 30ths.

Written exam in two parts: the first is composed of 6 items with multiple choice the second part is composed of exercises on Excel and JAMOVI

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
