Learning objectives
APPLIED INFORMATICS MODULE Training objectives: The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge on the functioning of a computer and on the storage and management of health data. Students will use the spreadsheet for data synthesis and representation and will retrieve information from bibliographic databases. MODULE PSYCHOMETRY Educational objectives: This module provides two educational objectives related to data collection using the questionnaire tool. The first objective concerns the construction of a questionnaire, the adaptation of an already existing instrument and the different methods of administration. The second objective envisages an introduction to the statistical package R aimed at acquiring the basic skills necessary for the analysis of the data collected through a questionnaire and verification of its psychometric properties. MODULE OF MEDICAL STATISTICS AND CLINICAL EPIDEMIOLOGY Educational objectives: The educational path aims to make students able to: describe and interpret information regarding a set of data; know and interpret the main frequency and association measures in the epidemiological field.
