Program

The fundamental principles of the relationship between the living environment and human health. The main characteristics of the environment, intended as a determinant of health (individual, socio-economic, environmental, lifestyles, access to services). The main factors capable of influencing the quality of environmental matrices (air and water). The main pollutants of interest to human health. The modalities of the onset of a disease linked to the environment. The main epidemiological characteristics. Methods of prevention of diseases related to the environment.

Didactic methods

Frontal and interactive lesson with presentation of cases.

Learning assessment procedures

Written exam with open and closed answers. The student must demonstrate that he has understood the theoretical notions relating to the situation referred to. He must be able to transfer the notions learned to the proposed application cases, analyzing the case in point".

Evaluation criteria

The exam is positive with a result >18/30.
