Learning outcomes
The proposed course consists of four modules belonging to the engineering and environmental sciences. The objectives of the course are very articulated. However, will be aimed at assessing the impact of various technologies may have on the welfare of people in theworking spaces with particular regard to the evaluation of health care risk.
Regarding the study pertaining the electrical systems, it will be evaluated in particular the potential and the risks due to the presence of electromagnetic fields on the work space and the presence of electrical devices.
In relation to industrial areas, module 3 will expand these concepts to the sectors related to the temperature and humidity being and sound in various workplaces. specific purpose of the module is to provide a set of tools, also related to current regulations, by which the student can make some assessments to determine whether the conditions, suitable to a given working environment, meets the requirements imposed by applicable regulations and/or which listings can be done to reach within a define working space the optimal conditions.
Some of these concepts will be oriented to specific assessments of the environmental risks in the module 4 program that aims at detailing several analysis pertaining the environmental monitoring of specific cases such as: assessment and management of risks associated with swimming facilities and problems associated with the presence of Legionella, the presence of pesticides and asbestos in the environment and the impact that these substances can have in determining critical conditions in relation to the activities working.
In the course of the module 2 it will be provide to the student some descriptive methodologies to properly assess the gestion / distribution of space in the work space as well as some general technical design concepts: study of the basics of graphic language to learn, to read and interpret a technical drawing in the civil and industrial sector. Learn how to use 2D CAD tools to perform simple drawings in the civil and industrial sector.
