The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
PHYSIOLOGY: PART 1 The lectures will present selected topics of integrative physiology applied to exercise and sports. By focusing on specific aspects of human physiology and a quantitative approach the course aims at fostering the understanding of the control mechanisms, the integrated function of organs and systems towards the maintenance of the body homeostasis. The course will focus on the acute responses to exercise and the adaptive responses to training. FISIOLOGY PART 2: The lectures will present selected topics of integrative physiology applied to sports and performance. By focusing on specific aspects of human physiology and a quantitative approach the course aims at fostering the understanding of the control mechanisms, the integrated function of organs and systems towards the maintenance of the body homeostasis. The course will focus on the metabolic aspects and on the sex differences in the acute responses to exercise and the adaptive responses to training. MM: The program consists in learning the main pathologies and traumatological states of muscular and scheletric system in relation to sport and agonistic activities. TRAUMATOLOGIA DEGLI SPORT: The programm consists in learning the main pathologies and traumatological states of muscular and scheletric system in relation to sport and agonistic activities.
