Learning outcomes

Acquisition of knowledge concerning the main protagonists and historical events of Art History since the 1920s until the 1980s;
Understanding and visual analysis of contemporary artworks;
Critic and historiographic proficiency in Contemporary Art History;
Being able to begin autonomous researches on Contemporary Art History

Program

Prerequisites: Deep knowledge of art history until the historical avant-gardes

Course programme
1) Art History and its main poetics, trends and artists, since Surrealism until the 1980s

Didactic Methods: Lectures with the projections of artwork pictures, visual tests, and an anthology of Critics and Cultural Policy texts as a comment.
