Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to give the students the knowledge in order to understand and manage contractual relationships, especially in case of emergency, crisis or calamities. The course aims to examine both, how extraordinary situations can influence general contract law and which special contracts are useful in order to face such situations.
At the end of the course, students will be able to settle questions in the field of the emergency contract law.
Program
The course programme is divided in two parts.
The first part concerns general contract law, with special attention to those legal instruments which apply in emergency situations.
The second part analyses some special contracts, such as sale, supply, lease, procurement, contract for services, contract of carriage, loan agreement, contract of insurance.
