Philosophy of Education and Educational Research
The goal of the course is to help preservice teachers to understand the philosophical dimension of the pedagogical discourse. This will allows them to see philosophy as a thoughtful method aimed at gaining on in-depht comprehension of the complexity of the educational practice. Moreover, Philosophy of Education gives a framework for identifying the experiences that are capable to cultivate each anthropological dimension.
Educational Research
The goal of the course is to teach research skills representing a fundamental dimension for teacher profession, following the pattern of the researcher-teacher. This goal will be achieved through knowledge and instruments useful for teachers: theoretical knowledge referred to the philosophy of care (a theoretical framework to develop a kind of school intended as an educative context for children), methods and instruments to plan and realize an educative research.
