Learning outcomes
The course intends to teach the key elements of school planning and evaluation: the given information will be used to understand what is happening in the school system at every level, referring to educational processes and institutional innovations. The course will present essential knowledge to develop professional skills, assuming a perspective that considers the school as horizon of reflection and action, characterized by high complexity, and that implies a vision of evaluation not as simple learning measurement.
Program
To pursue the training objectives of the course, the following thematic groups will be addressed:
-evolution of the school system and curriculum debate;
-social-affective dimension of the school experience: construction of the group of pupils;
- act encouraging as a relational style of the teacher useful for promoting learning and establishing an inclusive climate;
- from programming by objectives to programming by skills: cultural reasons and didactic implications;
-Kerr map as an analyzer of the different design modes;
- different types of classroom activities planning;
- characteristics of teaching by skills;
- forms and tools of evaluation;
- assessment of skills: the trifocal perspective;
-construction of evaluation rubrics and other evaluation tools.
In carrying out the program, attention will always be paid to both the kindergarten and primary school context.
