Learning outcomes

The main aim of the course of private law is to give students an adequate knowledge of the legal system governing relations among individuals and institutions, which act on an equal footing. The main issues of private law will be covered in class, also through classroom discussions on some case studies drawn from recent case law and through examples dealing with daily life. At the end of the course, students will be provided with a clear and concrete knowledge of the fundamental institutions of private law and with the specific terminology of the subject. Moreover, students will acquire knowledge on the rules and fundamental notions of private law, they will be able to understand the principles at the basis of different norms and they will know how to elaborate legal reasoning and apply it to practical cases.
