CONTAMINATION LAB
The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.
Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives
La proposta formativa concerne l’attivazione di un modulo didattico in lingua inglese per 2 cfu, 12 ore di lezione, rivolto prevalentemente agli studenti dei CdLM in Economics and Data Analysis, ma di interesse anche per gli studenti del CdLM in Banca e Finanza, volto all’analisi teorica delle scelte in condizione di rischio ed ad un’introduzione alle metodologie teoriche ed applicative della gestione del rischio finanziario.
Program
Nel modulo verranno trattati i concetti di avversione al rischio, misure del rischio, analisi di serie storiche finanziarie ed applicazioni a decisioni di gestione di rischio finanziario. Il modulo sarà idealmente collegato all’insegnamento di Resilience and Risk Management del CdLM in Economics and Data Analysis.
L’iniziativa replica un progetto analogo attivato negli anni accademici 2016-17, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 2021-22.
Le lezioni saranno erogate in presenza compatibilmente con le regole di Ateneo e i vincoli organizzativi del docente estero o alternativamente in modalità streaming.
Testo di riferimento sarà: Christofferson, P. F. (2012): Elements of Financial Risk Management. Elsevier Academic Press.
L’insegnamento in inglese sarà tenuto dal Professor Kim K. Christensen Aarhus University, DK.
Durata del corso: Il corso si articolerà su quattro incontri per un totale di 12 ore di lezione equivalenti a 2cfu.
Periodo di svolgimento: indicativamente novembre - dicembre 2022
Learning assessment procedures
Si ricorda che i laureandi di dicembre 2022/aprile 2023 non possono partecipare e richiedere l'accreditamento di cfu per la presente attività, in quanto si tratta di un'erogazione 2022/2023, mentre le sessioni di laurea si riferiscono all'a.a. 2021/2022.
Gli studenti regolarmente iscritti all'a.a. 2022/2023 sono tenuti a inserire l'attività a libretto.
Riconoscimento di crediti formativi (CFU) di tipologia D: L’attività formativa richiede un impegno corrispondente a 2 CFU.
Il riconoscimento di crediti è subordinato alla frequenza di almeno il 75% delle lezioni ed al superamento di un prova finale.
