Learning objectives
In this module, students will learn the steps of promoting a product through practice. Students will also learn about the concept of Unique Selling Proposition, and the linguistic strategies used to effectively ‘sell’ a product.
Prerequisites and basic notions
English language level equivalent or superior to B1.
Program
The module will cover the following topics:
• Adjectives to promote products / services
• Unique Selling Proposition
• Emotive language and other persuasive strategies
• Writing a proposal e-mail
Didactic methods
Blended-learning. The module will include a 3-hour class and 3 hours of online activities on which students will receive feedback from the instructor.
Learning assessment procedures
Students will submit an assignment and participate in a reflection activity on the Moodle platform as part of the module.
