Learning outcomes

The course aims to introduce students to the literary culture of the twentieth century in Spain and to offer a vision of Spanish society today by reading and analysis of a contemporary novel.

Program

PROGRAM
The course aims to introduce students to the knowledge of the principal authors and literary movements of the twentieth century Spain, with attention to their historical context .
It is also proposed the reading of two novels that offer a vision of Spanish society today .
The novels will be discussed in the light of the appropriate tools for the analysis of narrative texts .

Examination Methods

MODE OF FINAL EXAMINATION
The exam is oral in Italian and Spanish. For students attending the lessons a test is programmed during of the course (test and short answer questions ).
The oral test involves reading, translation and commentary of a piece in the program . The student must show that he understands the text and is able to place it in historical context . It is advisable to take the oral examination once you have got a language level B1 .

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
