Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide to professional educators the appropriate knowledge concerning intercultural pedagogy, that is considered the best solution to pluralism, to globalisation, to the multiethnic and multicultural society. Besides the historical development, particular attention will be given to the methodological and didactic aspects, as well as with a comparison with other European countries. Given the changes due to the globalisation and the advent of multicultural societies, the course addresses the different pedagogical answers (metacultural, transcultural, multicultural, and intercultural pedagogy).
