KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Knowledge aimed at understanding biological substrates and functional implications of neuropsychiatric diseases in the developmental age.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Ability to recognize the different situations of discomfort deriving from the pathologies affecting central and peripheral nervous system.
Aptitude to understand the possible actions to overcome or attenuate neurological disability.

The neurological assessment of preterm infants
The neurological assessment of the full-term baby
The normal development of motor, cognitive, psychological, and relational functions
The use of MRI in the evaluation of brain maturation

Examination Methods

During the exam, candidates (both attending and not the lessons) will be asked to write a free composition on one of the themes included in the program. The vote, expressed on a 30-point scale, will take into account, in particular, the extent of topic understanding and the candidate's ability to expose relevant features in an organic and synthetic way through an appropriate use of the language.
