Learning outcomes
The course aims to illustrate the methods and concepts necessary for reading and design a clinical research protocol and for the analysis and interpretation of results of clinical trials, including either descriptive or analytical observational studies and experimental studies within both medical and surgical fields. Finally, the course will focus on reading a scientific article with the aim of illustrating its definition and structure and providing the relevant information required for a critical reading of the results.
