Learning outcomes
The main objectives are:
- To learn the basis of multimodal treatment of gastric, esophago-gastric junction and esophageal adenocarcinoma; which are the different types of multimodal approaches, the surgical indications both in locally advanced resectable cases and in oligometastatic patients.
- To learn the principles of multimodal treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus including the watch and wait strategy.
- To Know about surgical indications and multimodal treatments of gastric GISTs.

- Siwevert classification of EGJ adenocarcinoma;
- Multimodal treatment of EGJ adenocarcinoma based on Siewert sub-type;
- Surgery in EGJ adenocarcinoma: indications and hot topics;
- Multimodal treatment and surgical indications in non-cardia gastric cancer
- Surgical indications in gastric GISTs
