• Structure and functional relevance of cell organelles. Mithosis and meiosis. Essentials of cell differentiation.
2. Histology
• Surface epithelium. Glandular epithelium. Muscle tissue. Nervous tissue. General description of mesenchyme-derived tissues. Connective tissue proper. Supporting tissues (cartilage, bone). Blood and lymph. Bone marrow.
3. Anatomy
• General anatomy
• Locomotor apparatus: bones, joints, muscles. Cardiovascular and lynphatic apparatuses:. hart, vessels, lymphatic organs. Respiratory appatratus: airways, lungs, pleurae. Reproductive organs. Central and peripheral nervous system. Digestive apparatus: alimentary tract, liver, pancreas. Skin and annexes. Endocrine glands.
4. Applied anatomy
• identification of surface body landmarks (locomotor apparatus).
