Learning outcomes
The mathematics mini-courses are offered by highly qualified international staff and focus on one or more of the classic disciplines of mathematics, i.e. mathematical logic, algebra, geometry, complementary mathematics, mathematical analysis, probability and statistics, numerical analysis and operational research and their possible applications. At the end of a mini-course, the student will have a solid perception of the deep connections between mathematical and non-mathematical disciplines, will be able to read advanced mathematics texts, even at the research level and will be able to build and develop mathematical models for the physical and natural sciences and / or for statistical and economic-financial processes and to analyze their limits and applicability.
