Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will need to demonstrate to have acquired the main interdisciplinary foundations of Romance Philology (historical linguistics, textual criticism and medieval Romance literature).
Program
The course will be divided into three parts:
(1) Text criticism, with a focus on methods of editing medieval texts;
(2) Brief introduction to Romance linguistics;
(3) Reading, analysis, and commentary on early documents and passages of literary texts.
