Learning objectives
The course helps the student to become aware of the role of individual and social determinants that influence medical profession and health care, with the adoption of both psychological and sociological perspectives. It illustrates the specific historical, theoretical and scientific background that helps the student to adopt a patient-centred approach, focusing on communication and relational skills. Attention is paid towards biopsychosocial determinants of health and evidence-based research.

Since Clinical Psychology is worth 5 credits (2 frontal teaching + 3 practical training) and human sciences is worth 2 credits (frontal teaching) the grade is weighted as follows:
