Learning objectives
At the end of the seminars, the student will have addressed the application of frameworks relating to sustainable business models from both a scientific and practical point of view in the Agrifood sector. For the first point, in fact, scientific articles that have used the business model as an analysis framework will be discussed in class in order to: • Focus on the gap in the literature to which the authors contribute; • Analyze how the business model framework is used as an analysis tool; • Highlight the application of the business model and the concluding reflections of the analysis. For the second point of analysis, namely laboratory activities with application of the business model framework, work groups will be created among the students who will be asked to analyze a company through the framework of a business model. The seminars also aim to contribute to developing the transversal skills of the participating students, who will be able to work in groups, preparing a report with in-depth analysis of the topics covered and critical processing of the collected material.
