Learning objectives

On completion of the course students will acquire knowledge and competences related to methodological approaches and the use of ICT in Spanish Language Teaching, also from a practical point of view.

Program

The Teaching Lab is organised as follows: a) 2 CFU Spanish teaching approaches (24 lesson hours), b) 2 CFU Literature/Culture teaching approaches (24 lesson hours); c) 2 CFU Practicum (50 hours)
a) The Spanish teaching part comprises: 10 hours on topics related to Spanish teaching approaches; these lessons will be delivered in blended learning; 8 lesson hours will be dedicated to microteaching sessions
b) The Literature teaching approaches part comprises: 10 lesson hours on topics related to teaching literature/culture, to be delivered in blended learning; 8 lesson hours will be dedicated to microteaching sessions
Topics common to both a) and b) are: eTwinning project (8 lesson hours), seminar with school teachers (4 lesson hours)
c) Practicum: the teaching Lab comprises also a Practicum to be carried out in a secondary school (primo o secondo grado), aimed at putting into practice the knowledge and competences discussed in part a) and b)
Reading list: materials examined during the seminars in Parts a) and b), which are available in the Moodle e-learning dedicated space; reading list in the bibliographic section.

Didactic methods

Lessons will be organised in the form of seminars, and interaction in the Moodle e-learning dedicated space is required.

Learning assessment procedures

Evaluation will not be based on a final exam paper, but will take into account participation in the seminars and in the dedicated Moodle e-learning forums, and expressed as approved / not approved.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Evaluation of the Teaching Lab seminars in presence: active participation, materials (lesson plans/activities) devised; participation in the reflection process part of the dedicated Moodle e-learning forums.
