Learning objectives
Understand the indications, contraindications, and limitations of current heart failure treatment options beyond pharmacological treatment.
Prerequisites and basic notions
The course is aimed at students who have already dealt with heart failure in the teachings of pathophysiology and cardiology.
Program
The course will be divided into 3 lessons of about 2 hours each: 1 Mechanical assistance in acute heart failure.
2 Implantable Mechanical Assistance (LVAD, RVAD,TAH)
3 Cardiac Transplant

The course will be divided into 3 lessons of approximately 2 hours each. The first lesson will take place on April 8th at 5.30 pm in the Cardiac Surgery Teaching Room in Pavillion 2 Borgo Trento
