Learning objectives

The course aims to launch through paradigmatic cases the knowledge and understanding of the relationship between antiquity and modernity. At the end of the course the student must demonstrate:  1) knowledge of the meaning of the concepts of philology and classical tradition;  2) knowledge of the studied texts and of hermeneutical problems connected to them  3) knowledge of the main interpretative models and modern remakes of the texts examined.
