Learning objectives
Teaching aims to provide theories, tools and operational perspectives of family and community nursing/obstetrics. PALLIATIVE AND SIMULTANEOUS CARE MODELS Module: Learning Outcomes: to explore the principles and models of care and organization of palliative care applied to the main categories of chronic patients. The effects of burden on family and patient. FAMILY ASSESSMENT AND INTERVENTION METHODS Module: Learning Outcomes: to provide a systematic overview of the methodological approach to the family as a unit of care; it also aims to give methodological indications for conducting family interviews (e.g., Calgary model) based on the ascertainment and intervention model. BIORIGHT AND BIOETICS Module: Learning Outcomes: to develop skills in critical interpretation of documents and norms regarding bio-law and bioethics issues; to acquire a method for analyzing and understanding ethical implications and their impact on decision-making by the care team and patient/caregiver on selected issues. SOCIAL AND HEALTHCARE INTEGRATION TO EMPOWER THE PERSON AND THE EMPOWERMENT COMMUNITY Module: Learning Outcomes: provide a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of the community's socio-health needs and the keys to understanding the different levels - cultural, regulatory, organizational, professional - on which the concept of service integration and related integrated practices are situated. FAMILY SOCIOLOGY Module: Learning Outcomes: The module aims to analyse the most relevant changes in the structure and functioning of families in contemporary society, both from a structural and relational point of view. Attention will also be given to the processes of simplification of family structures, to the current reduction in size of families and the creation of different types of family. The theme of informal caregiving will also be discussed.
