Didactic methods
Lessons will be conducted with an interactive approach, which will see the use of instant polling software to activate class discussion and reflection.
There will be lectures combined with small group activities in order to stimulate collaborative learning among students.
Fundamental will be the activity designed to take place in pairs: Pierre Vermersch's explicitation interview will be proposed to the peer pairs. This technique will be used to guide students to explicate their own professional experience and reflect on their own learning from experience.
There will also be time devoted to writing a learning diary useful for reflection on one's own learning process and professional practice at the same time.
Short self-assessment activities will be planned during the lessons for formative purposes.
Learning assessment procedures
The final learning assessment will take into account two key parts:
-Learning journal writing as a transversal process during the course of the teaching (30%)
-Final oral test with specific questions on the teaching programme (70%).
Evaluation criteria
Final oral examination:
-Comprehension of the concepts and topics covered during the course of the lectures
-Ability to argue and connect the different topics covered during the lectures
-Proficiency of language
-Presentation clarity
Learning diary: the assessment criteria for the learning diary will be co-constructed and shared with the students during the teaching process in order to create a collaborative and reflective process with regard to the quality of the diary itself. The criteria and related assessment rubric will be structured in relation to the reference literature that will be covered in class.
