Learning objectives
The course aims to analyze in detail the main business processes (sales, purchases, warehouse management, administration and finance, personnel management, information systems management) and to appreciate the main risks that they are able to generate in relation to the achievement of corporate objectives. A critical analysis will be proposed aimed at achieving corporate compliance with some reference regulations. The student will be provided with the tools with which to develop an adequate critical capacity of corporate complexity in an integrated key and to propose changes to processes, also through the study of case studies and business simulations.

Bibliography
Didactic methods
Lectures which will provide theoretical notions, methods and models for the analysis and design of business processes. Case studies and simulations will be used. The lessons will have a logical sequence with necessary systemic coordination. Readings and insights will be offered to students who want to further approach the subject. The video recordings of the lessons of the course will be made available only to: - students with disabilities, invalidity or DSA; - students participating in the training project PA 110 cum laude; - students who present certification of covid positivity during the positivity period.

Learning assessment procedures
The exam is ORAL.
Evaluation criteria
Through an ORAL exam, the following will be ascertained: A. knowledge of the main business processes by analyzing their characteristics and objectives; B. ability to analyze the level of risk in relation to a series of objectives including effectiveness, reliability, transparency, integrity, segregation of roles, regulatory compliance. C. ability to design appropriate risk mitigation controls. D. knowledge and design of compliance programs. During the last two lessons, attending students will discuss together some case studies in relation to all the previous 4 points.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final evaluation is expressed out of thirty and will be equal to the sum of the evaluation of the student's knowledge and skills in points A, B, C and D referred to in the previous evaluation criteria. An assessment in the 18-21-point range corresponds to sufficient knowledge and skills; evaluation between 21 and 24 denotes moderate knowledge and skills; an assessment between 25 and 29 denotes more than good knowledge and skills. An assessment between 30 and 30 cum laude corresponds to excellent/excellent knowledge and skills in the subject.
